Peak Performance Nepal - January, April, May

Known mostly for Mount Everest, the highest mountain on the planet, Nepal has become the primary location for our outdoor school of leadership. The Himalaya Mountains become the backdrop for our classroom as we seek to become more like Christ and learn how to live that out among the indigenous people living in places commonly untouched by traditional missionaries. You will be trained in leadership, world religions and evangelism, while journeying on a physically challenging 10-12 day trek in the Annapurna Mountain range where we learn from our instructors and from one another. We seek to share Jesus with the unreached people who call these mountains home. We also spend significant time in the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara working with street kids, orphanages, a community of individuals suffering the effects of leprosy, and an organization that focuses on ending the human trafficking that has plagued the women of Nepal. If you desire to be challenged in all aspects of your life, and learn to become more and more like Christ, then this might be the course for you. Physically demanding, as well as challenging spiritually and emotionally, this is a very rewarding course.

Peak Performance Nepal - Summer

Set in the beautiful valley beneath the Annapurna Mountain Range of the Himalayan Mountains, Peak’s Summer Nepal experience takes participants to the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara as well as a day’s trek into the village of Ghandruk for 5 days of remote ministry. Our focus is threefold: we take every opportunity to put you in a position to grow closer to the Lord; we take every opportunity to be the love of Christ to those we meet in the cities, villages and on the trail so as to bring them one step closer to Christ; we train you in the fields of leadership, world religions and evangelism. Relational in nature, our ministry in Nepal involves building upon relationships established since we first began visiting this country in 1998, as well intentionally forming new friendships. Expect to make quick friends with street kids, share tea with shop owners, be the touch of Christ to our friends affected by leprosy, and be the love of Christ to orphans and those impacted by the human trafficking industry. Peak Performance Tanzania

Tanzania, with a population of over 30 million people and over 160 different indigenous ethnic groups, is a place of great diversity. It is also a place of great beauty and the home of the tallest mountain on the continent of Africa, a perfect setting for our outdoor school of leadership and evangelism. The summer of 2008 brings the long awaited Peak Kilimanjaro trip. For every peak student that participates in this adventure 4 Tanzanian nationals will join us. We will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with local coffee farmers and porters everyday of our 10-12 day climb of beautiful Mt. Kilimanjaro. We will join local Christians in the city of Arusha reaching out to the people of that community, and specifically to the youth, with the love of Christ. We will visit schools and orphanages to learn more about how we can work to eliminate many of the needs they currently work to overcome. We will cap our time off with a 1-2 day safari in the Serengeti, witnessing first hand the beauty that is the cornerstone of Africa. Come reach your Peak Performance in Tanzania!

Peak Performance Turkey

In a country of over 66 million people, 99.8% are Muslim and there are scarcely 3000 known believers. Yet as you look at the history of the country, it contains roots of early Christianity and the explosive growth of the early Church.

The Peak Turkey team will have an experience like no other team. While studying leadership, Islam and evangelism, you will have the opportunity to reach the lost and do ministry in the same atmosphere and culture where Paul, John, Philip, and Timothy did. You will see, experience, study, and walk on and in the land of the Bible. The Bible and God will come alive to you in a rich and vibrant way as you study the Bible in its ancient cultural setting in cities such as Ephesus, Sardis, Pergamum, Hierapolis, Miletus, Priene, Didyma, and Laodicia. You will witness God use you in a variety of ministry opportunities that will touch your life, open your eyes, and cause you to depend on and draw near to God. If you desire to grow as a leader while opening your eyes to the power of God’s word, come and walk the accent ruins of your faith and watch as God opens your heart to fall deeper in love with Him, while breaking your heart for the Turkish people.
